Welcome to The Family!

Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr., Mrs. Tiffany, and the Memorial Tabernacle Family welcome you to the family.  We invite you to become a member of a family of believers God is using to "reach to teach, teach to change" one person and one block at a time.   We pray you will choose to attend the reunion to receive the love God has given us to give to you specifically!   #Galatians610  #HarvestTime  #HolySpiritRestatMTC
Thank You for Your Support of the Lyons King Musical Experience

"He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD." - Psalm 40:3

Friday night was AWESOME, and many were blessed above and beyond measure!  The Spirit of the Lord was high!  God was glorified so the Lyons King Musical Experience was perfect! That was the ultimate goal! As people commented after the worship experience and as we read all the texts from friends and family who were able to watching via live stream, i t reconfirmed why we did it. In His perfect plan, He gets all the glory! Amen!

Thank you to Pastor Robert Lyons and Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr for sharing their God-given gifts with us unselfishly over the decades while keeping God first through it all!

Thank you to every person who took time on a Friday evening - a 1st Friday at that - to be in the tabernacle as we worshipped Jesus Christ and exalted Him!

Thank you to Lady Erika and Mrs. Tiffany for bring to life the vision Pastor Lyons and Pastor King talked about for 5 or 6 years!  Special thank you  to Lady  Erika  for keeping the program flowing and just being herself.

Thank you to the Lyons Family for providing the post musical experience nourishment!

Thank you to all who shared, promoted, liked, and communicated this experience on their social medium platforms and networks.

Thank you to  Sister Karren in Arizona for strongly encouraging us to live stream the evening!  It was all new to us!   If you missed the Lyons King Musical Experience, the video is embedded below and available on MTC's YouTube Page at https://youtu.be/8dWrDFsvums

If the decision is made to make this musical experience an annual event to occur on the 1st Friday of November, plan to be in the tabernacle and expect God's Glory to be even greater!
Notes From Sunday's Sermon
"HANDS UP!" ( Exodus 17:1-6

God does not promise an easy journey. Following God is a journey each of us is personally called to take, and no one else can take that journey for you.

Two important facts we should note when studying the Exodus journey: One, an entire generation died in the wilderness; and two, an entire generation came to life in the wilderness. Which generation do you most closely associate with in your wilderness experiences? Are you coming to life in the wilderness? Are you allowing God to work through your ordinary experiences? For those of us who come to life through the wilderness experience will find that God will give us a better land-a promised land.

You will need to be spiritually protected. Expect spiritual attacks by Satan along the way. But rely on God and let him protect your heart. The Egyptian army attacked the Israelites as they were leaving Egypt (Exodus 14:26). God commanded Moses to "stretch forth your hand over the seas so that the waters may flow back." The entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea and not one of them survived. But the Israelites went through on dry ground.

The Israelites were attacked by the Amalekites while wandering in the wilderness (Exodus 17:11). As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up-one on one side, one on another-so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekites army with the sword. Moses built an altar and called it, "The Lord is my Banner." He said, "For hands were lifted up to the throne of the Lord."-- USK

Out of the Mouths of Babes
This young man wanted to sing, so I invited him to sing with me just before I delivered the morning sermon. I was so blessed. It reminded me of my own youth. He is definitely going to be a powerful and anointed singer in our church. He already is! So proud of him. Fearless! After he finished singing he took a bow and sat down.
