The Chamber of Manitowoc County:    Headshots are an important part of business success! The Crossing of Manitowoc County  celebrates the work of volunteer advocates. One advocate works with women coming for ultrasound exams. She remembers one nervous family at their first appointment, coping with an unplanned pregnancy. They were fascinated with our life-sized models of babies in development and were delighted with the 12-week-old model, just like their own baby. They went home with photos to show friends. Lester Public Library: Tonight at 6:00pm, the library hosts a special showing of the movie Honor Flight.  This powerful documentary tells the story of four WWII veterans and the community that comes together to give them the trip of a lifetime. Honor Flight volunteer Mark Grams introduces the movie and answers questions about the Honor Flight Network. At 6:00pm Wednesday, historian Patrick Gagnon details the fascinating affiliation Two Rivers had with professional football from 1939 through 1947 when the city was the preseason training site for several teams. And at 2:30pm Saturday, all ages can learn the basics of computer programming at our Hour of Code.
