Living the Questions

This month's topic is

restoring relationships to each other and to the divine.

All are invited to this popular video and discussion series held on the 2nd Thursday of every month. The series is about rethinking old theological ideals that are not helpful in the 21st century. Participants are encouraged to participate in these discussions to search for their own answers to hard questions.

UU Women's Day of Action
on Immigration

Sunday, March 30

Join other UU women in a 24-hour fast to demand immigration reform that treats women and families fairly.

Did you know that women and children comprise 75% of all immigrants in the United States? Our immigration system disproportionately harms women and families, and even though many politicians do not want to confront the legislation, we know our broken system has been breaking families apart for far too long.

With our coalition partners at We Belong Together, as well as other organizations, we are all invited to join a major month-long women's action focused on fasting and action. Through fasting and a coordinated set of actions - first in communities across the country, and then together in Washington, DC - women will hold the moral center in demanding immigration reform that treats women and families fairly.

Please sign-up to join the fast for the
UU Women's Day of Action on Immigration, March 30, as we demand common sense immigration reform!

A Community Conversation about Sustainability:
Mary Emeny, facilitator

Beyond conflict and compromise/Thinking from essence (last of a 3 part participatory conversation)

Out of the box thinking can be intuitive, but it can also be learned.  We will practice a few simple  tools for thinking beyond our normal patterns of thought and reaction, and use those tools to  consider the future we would like to see.

The conversations are open to everyone, free of charge.

BELIEVE IN GOOD.
Come a little earlier Sunday morning

So - last Sunday the weather didn't cooperate in making it possible for you to attend the
10 AM Worship Service. You
can always try again this week!  The coffee will waiting. The early service has all the same content
as the 11 AM service, with the exception that there
is no Children's Moment.

Remember why it's important for more of us to attend the earlier service: quite simply, it is so that the Fellowship can continue to grow. If we can get 40 or 50 folks at that service (instead of 20 to 30) it would help us over this "space crunch" hump.

PARENTS - Have you indicated your interest in having a child participate in OWL? If not, be sure to add your name to the interest form in the CRE classroom.

The
OWL curricula can help you educate your children about bodies, babies, birth, and families. Learn about our Fellowship's OWL program and essential information for parents:

TheOWL Sexuality Education Program
will be offered either for children in grades
K-1 or those in grades 4-6. Parents will choose the age group at the Parents Meeting on March 23.
