LexArts Welcomes Di Boyer as Director of Major Gifts

Lexington, KY -  LexArts is pleased to announce that Diane Boyer has joined the staff as Director of Major Gifts.  Her responsibilities will include leading efforts to increase fundraising through the strengthening of the united arts fund's major gifts program.

Boyer's fundraising career began as Executive Director of Vision Versailles, a downtown development and historic preservation nonprofit. As Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Midway University, she was instrumental in designing annual giving programs that produced a five-fold increase in alumni participation. Her career then took her to KentuckyOne Health, first as Director of Development for the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation, and then as Director of Major Gifts for the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation. During her tenure at KentuckyOne Health, Boyer helped to expand private support through increased major gifts, event fundraising and grant writing.

"I've witnessed firsthand the impact of keeping 'arts alive' in Lexington," says Boyer. "I'm thrilled to join this creative team and will work very hard to ensure we grow philanthropy so the beautiful creative spirit that is Lexington remains vibrant."

Ellen A. Plummer, LexArts President and CEO, heralds Boyer's arrival saying, "Di brings not only her development skill and experience to our team-she also brings her love for the arts and for LexArts in particular. After five years on our board, she knows our strengths and opportunities. And we treasure her enthusiasm and knowledge of our community. We are thrilled to work with her in this new role."

Born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa, Boyer was graduated from Midway University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management. She and her husband Rod reside in Versailles and are the parents of two grown children, Brittany and Landon.
