Employer Confidence hits another high for 2017
Employer confidence in Massachusetts hit another high for 2017 during October as economic growth accelerated and companies remained optimistic about the national outlook. The Associated Industries of Massachusetts Business Confidence Index edged up 0.3 points to 62.7, leaving it 6.5 points better than in October 2016. Our Company, based in Harwich, Massachusetts, received two prestigious New England business awards last week.The company, which is marking its 60th year in business this year, was honored by The Family Business Association as Large Business of the Year at the association's annual awards ceremony Oct. 24 at the Colonnade Hotel in Boston. Ed Tarlow honored with Regional Family Business Advocacy Award by the Family Business Association
The Family Business Association has named Boston attorney Edward Tarlow as this year's recipient of the Regional Family Business Advocacy Award. Tarlow has focused his career on helping family-owned businesses grow and expand. To that end, he is also President and a Founding Director of the Family Business Association, a Massachusetts non-profit which was established in 2008.
