Praise the Lord!

Covenant UMC in West Seneca recently celebrated a ribbon cutting on their new handicapped accessibility lift and bathroom. The church is now accessible to all through the rear entrance. As many community events are held here each year, this is a welcome asset to the church building. The church also houses a Girl Scout troop, Tai Chi classes, TOPS Weight Loss Classes, and St. Nicholas Church.

The project has been a necessary dream for the church. They started to prepare in earnest several years ago and construction began in August 2016. They did a campaign drive and received wonderful donations from the church family. We also used many of our memorials. Unfortunately, the actual cost was 50% more than the original estimate we received, so a last-minute loan was taken out. We will be doing extensive fundraising to pay off our loan. Donations are still being gratefully accepted!
