This Thursday evening, be both inspired and challenged by stories of empowerment from speakers including keynote Anna Hampton, an author and mom who spent a decade serving in Afghanistan, followed by a time of purchasing with a purpose! 
While enjoying coffee, dessert and fellowship, you can select from local and global vendors whose products are produced by and empower women in need.

If you enjoy shopping or styling outfits, put that to use for local children in foster care! Carmel's Mosaic-Style with Love is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, in partnership with Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services, that provides FREE, NEW clothing to foster children in our community.  Click here to learn more about current volunteer needs and to express your interest.

Charlotte Rescue Mission (CRM)
Throughout November, we're collecting items for the men and women overcoming addiction served by local ministry partner Charlotte Rescue Mission Donate NEW gloves, knit caps, undershirts, socks and underwear (M-XXL) as well as NEW or gently used winter coats for both men and women at the bins along the Neighbors wall in the Gathering Space.

Praises
Milestones for Daughter Churches
  • Five Stones: This past Sunday, our daughter church Five Stones worshipped and discipled in their NEW permanent home after 8 years at Cuthbertson Middle School. To God be the glory for the ministry He is doing in and through the Five Stones Family. Check out pictures on their Facebook page
  • GraceOne: Our Chinese daughter church purchased land on which to build a permanent church home. They will gather on November 18 to celebrate what God is doing and formally dedicate this land for God's purposes.
Carmel Serve-d Well

More than 300 Carmel volunteers - ranging in age from 3 weeks old to 73 years old - Loved+Served through our local ministry partners this past weekend! From playing games of bingo to delivering beds for kids, it was a beautiful picture of the body of Christ.  Check it out!
