What's the Difference Between a Husky Gathering
and a Husky Mixer?

After almost 25 years here I continue to be surprised by what I am still learning myself.

Next week we begin our grade-level parent meetings. Primarily to connect with each other and with our students' advisors in a smaller setting (most are graciously hosted in family homes), these get-togethers also include important agendas: Outdoor Education information, updates on  Our Vision-The Next Ten Years , meeting your Grade Advisory Parent (GAP), and (for senior parents) final-stretch college application information.

The inclusion of an agenda makes these meetings examples of a Husky Mixer. On the other hand, purely social events, of which there will also be several during the year, are designated Husky Gatherings.

Now you know!

Part of the strength of a smaller school like RHP/Ren is that we can get to know each other as members of the team of adults working together in myriad ways to bring up our children. When it comes to succeeding at this oft-daunting task, we are much stronger as a whole than as the sum of our parts. We partner with each other to guide our children towards success and fulfillment in its many forms.

Details of your grade's upcoming Mixer can be found by clicking below.
