at Immaculate High School on September 21st. Additional
information will be sent home to the Grade 8 parents.

A Catholic School Response to Hurricane Harvey
September 21, 2017
St. Joseph School will have a dress down day on Thursday, September 21st. Each student is asked to contribute at least $1.00 to support this initiative.

Homework Club
The homework club will begin in October. This is an excellent way
for our upper grade students to concentrate and complete their
homework before they come home. We encourage parents to
consider sending the upper grade students who go to After-School to
attend the Homework Club. Additional information will be posted to the website soon.
4. Basketball 2017-2018
The Boys and Girls Basketball registration form is attached. The
registration fee is $100 per child. Sports physicals must be up to date.
Forms are due by Friday, September 22nd.

5. Chargers Cheerleading - Monday September 25, 2017
Students in Grades 3 and up. 2nd graders are welcome to be
evaluated for eligibility.

After School until 4:30 p.m.

6. Girls
Jr. Varsity Basketball - Try Outs for the Girls
September 26th & September 28th
After school from 3:30 to 5:00
Open to all 4th, 5th & 6th Grade Girls
7. Scrip Program
Scrip is a gift card purchasing program that generates funds directly
to SJS with each purchase. Additional information can be found on
the attached flier.
Tuesday, September 26th -SJS Golf Outing
Our first major fundraiser of the year is coming!
Let us make it a success! Golfers and sponsors are needed.
The event will take place at the Rock Ridge Country Club in Newtown, CT.
