Standing in a Different Story

Autumn Equinox
Contemplation
by Suchitra Davenport

We celebrate the Autumn Equinox on September 22 at 4:02 p.m. EST.

As we move into autumn and watch the leaves fall from the trees, I cannot help but consider the vaster transformation we are all undergoing.  There are more than leaves falling around us. The fabric of our society as we have known it, is falling apart.  We are invited to step into something new, but we do not yet know what that new is because we are creating it together in each moment. Autumn begins a time of moving inward, of reflection and contemplation.  So let us reflect on what we are creating together and whether it is a conscious and clear NEW creation or if we are simply acting in old patterns, old thoughtforms and resisting true and heart led change.

It is imperative to remember that we cannot solve our current problems at the level they were created.  We cannot continue in the same vein, but must disrupt the usual script, offer a different invitation and stand in a different story.  We must activate and move into a larger sense of the possible.

This newsletter began with thoughts on tolerance and intolerance and has evolved in our collective Soul Source group mind to be more about a recognition of the causal factor to intolerance, to hatred, to evil, to greed and all that seems impossible to heal in our world.  And it seems as though all these unhealed parts stem from our ancient root wound of believing that we are separate from each other, separate from the earth and separate from the cosmos.  So what would we be creating if we remembered that we are not separate?  If we remembered that we are empowered to create and stand in a different story with a new and more beautiful outcome?  But we cannot do so if we rush into action which is still against something or some group or some individual. There is a lot of this happening.  It cannot happen if we are still in separation and see any part of the world as separate...even the most evil and ugly parts.  We must move more deeply into a willingness to love one another, to not turn against each other and to share our resources generously with all.  We always see tiny seeds of this begin to grow when a huge disaster, such as the Houston flood, occurs. It is in these moments of crisis that we find our hearts.  But what if we sustained this sense of communion and sharing and helping and accepting at all times.  If we truly sustained Loving Presence and began to act as Love in Action in each moment, what could we create together?

If we cease acting from our ego, against this and that, polarizing, allowing our minds and our emotional bodies to tell us what to do, even if it is in the spirit of "we must DO something", even if it is "on the side of right", but rather if we allowed a receptive time each day, a time of "non-doing" to inform our "doing".  What if we took time to listen inwardly and be inspired and moved into action from something greater than our little selves?  If this non-doing became our first task of the day, how paradoxical, and we began to access a higher Plan, a greater Will, and a Divine Design which is trying to work through us, each and all, perhaps that would be the new way, the different story?  What if we allowed our Souls to guide us into right action and creativity?

We are infinitely creative beings who have infinite potential to create a wondrous world.  Look around your immediate world, your relationships, your home, your work, what you send out over social media and start creating right now in your own sphere. Slow it down so that each action is coming from stillness, from a sense of Oneness.  Please reflect, please align, be still and listen, love more, keep your vibration high and please open to what is trying to be remembered and birthed. The old ego way of creation is dying; the New Earth is already a blueprint in our hearts.

This Autumn Equinox we invite you to read a chapter from Charles Eisentein's latest book, The More Beautiful World We All Know is Possible.  Charles asks the deeper questions, the more subtle questions and offers us the thought that fuels him when he sees injustice, intolerance, horror and human suffering, "I will do anything in my power to create a world in which this no longer happens."

Autumn Equinox Blessings to All
We honor the creative power

The following two healing videos use Sacred Geometry and the spoken word to transmit high-frequency healing energies. They are best watched on a larger screen and should be viewed separately with several days in between viewing. The first video focuses on Forgiveness and the second video focuses on Oneness.

 Evil
by Charles Eisenstein

When we confront something we regard as "evil," it poses a threat to the self-preservation of ego. We are so busy preserving our existence in the face of this threat that we cannot see the thing clearly at all.
-Chögyam Trungpa

Sometimes in Q&A sessions or internet comments I am confronted with the accusation that I ignore "the dark side of human nature." I would like to unpack that statement. What is the dark side of human nature? It certainly means more than "Sometimes people do some pretty awful things," because obviously if it wasn't someone's fault or intention to cause harm, that is not very dark. Besides, anyone who has read my work knows that I am well aware of the horrible things we humans have done to each other and the planet. No, when we speak of the dark side of human nature we are making a dispositionist claim: that we do bad things because there is bad within us. We bear within us evil, malice, selfishness, greed, brutality, cruelty, violence, hate, and callousness.

It hurts to live any story less than love.

DAVID'S DESK #124
by David Spangler

"You Shall Not Pass!"

There is a dramatic moment in the Fellowship of the Ring, the first book in J.R.R. Tolkien's acclaimed trilogy, Lord of the Rings, when the Fellowship is racing through the dark caverns of the mines of Moira pursued by a Balrog, a demon from the depths of hell. As they scurry across a bridge, the wizard Gandalf the Grey turns to confront the demon, drawing on all the power of his magic to make himself a barrier to protect his fleeing companions. Standing firm, he yells to the Balrog, "You shall not pass!"

Humanity is facing its own Balrog moment. Around the world, hatred is feeling emboldened to pursue and enforce an agenda of division and brokenness based on the false superiority of one group over another. This hate can take many forms and march under the banner of many causes. It has shown up as ISIS. It has appeared as extreme forms of nationalism. It showed up this past month in Charlottesville, Virginia. Hate will continue to appear in the future until there is no place for it in the world. For that to happen, it falls to each of us in our lives to stand up to this momentum of hatred and division and say, "You shall not pass! This shall not be your world!"

Some of you I will hollow out.
I will make you a cave.
I will carve you so deep the stars will shine in your darkness.
You will be a bowl.
You will be the cup in the rock collecting rain.
I will hollow you with knives.
I will not do this to make you clean.
I will not do this to make you pure
You are clean already.
You are pure already.
I will do this because the world needs the hollowness of you.
I will do this for the space that you will be.
I will do this because you must be large.
A passage.
People will find their way through you.
A bowl.
People will eat from you.
And their hunger will not weaken them to death.
A cup to catch the sacred rain.
 Do not cry.
Do not be afraid.
Nothing you need will be lost.
I am shaping you.
I am making you ready.
Light will flow in your hollowing.
You will be filled with light.
Your bones will shine.
The round open center of you will be radiant.
I will call you brilliant one.
I will call you one who is wide.
I will call you transformed.

The one who births the new world.
