Short Course Meter Championships
October 13-15

SCM Championships in friendly Walnut Creek will convene over three days during California's Indian Summer when lingering warmer days are welcomed.   Long and short events, and relays are offered.  A most unique race, last year, featured a heat of butterfly swimmers who raced the stroke in backwards motion.  The imagination, prior to this, could hardly picture six lanes of these "gutsy" athletes.  What unique races can we look forward to this year?  This meet is for experienced and first-time competitors,  Information and   registration.

Swimming's low-impact nature makes it truly a lifelong sport. Swimming with a coach and a group offers motivational and social benefits, and most USMS programs include swimmers of all ability levels.
