The 5th/6th volleyball team had a hard-fought game against INCA, but fell to the Patriots, in three sets. The Patriots came out with some strong serving in the first set. While the Eagles fought their way back into the game, they ended up falling 23-25 in the first set. The second set saw the Heritage Eagles come out with strong serving and hustling to the ball, which ended in a win 25-19. In the final set, the Eagles again found themselves in an early hole. While they worked hard to get back in the game, they lost 11-15. The girls kept a positive attitude and saw what they need to improve upon for the next game. Way to go Eagles!

The Eagles soccer team faced the Patriots on Thursday, September 7. The Eagles battled the Patriots in a fierce game. The Eagles offense did a great job with Trey Schweitzer finding the back of the net for a goal, Hunter Schau scored a goal and had two assists, and Sam Young had one assist and a hat trick leading the offense with 3 goals. The Eagles played great offense, and were moving the ball well throughout the game. It was a close game ending with the Eagles one point behind the Patriots with a final score of 5-6.

The Eagles 5th/6th volleyball team competed against the Pathway Panthers on Tuesday night. The Eagles came out strong and swept all three sets to win the match. The first set the Eagles lead the way with a score of 25-13, and the Eagles continued to lead the second set with a score of 25-11. The final set was back and forth; in the end, the Eagles scored the last 4 points of the night ending the final set at 15-10. Way to go Eagles!

The Eagles faced the LIS Panthers in soccer on Tuesday night. The Eagles 8th graders lead the offense with 7 goals among them. Sam Young scored the first goal of the night, with Jordan Robinson following it up with a shot from half field that made its way into the back of the net. Adu Habte brought home the next two goals and Hunter Schau scored the last 2 goals, ending the night with a final score of 7-3. Way to go Eagles!
