A Message from Leidy in the DR
"Wish we were there to help...."
After Irma passed through our area, our mission team translator Leidy Rosario saw photographs of the extensive debris left behind around the home of two Christ Church missioners and sent this message:

Glad your home is safe! We are happy. I did see how your yard looks and yes, you have some serious cleaning to do there. Wish we were there to help just as your mission team helped cleaning in our house before it was all ready.

Leidy and her family live in a house in El Pedregal that was built by our Dominican Republic mission team earlier this year. Their house, along with the other houses in the village and the Episcopal camp, conference center, school and church sustained no damage when Hurricane Irma passed near the northern coast of the Dominican Republic.
