Experienced leader seeks 21st century savvy young professional
Ever been the youngest professional in the room? Then your advice and input might be just what top-company officials are seeking. More and more, reverse mentoring is becoming commonplace in corporate buildings. Young professionals are being asked to step up by helping their boss, and their boss' boss, understand other perspectives and new technologies. 

Get in the spirit of fall with the Wellness Wonders of Arizona 
With the weather cooling and the season changing, get outside and enjoy the best of what Arizona has to offer. Through Wellness AtoZ people can participate in the Wellness Wonders of Arizona's Fall Challenge. From hiking and running along canals, to visiting a farmer's market or getting ready for Turkey Day with a rousing game of football, participants can complete items on their challenge check-list.  There's still time to sign up and complete the Wellness Wonders of Arizona Fall challenge, which ends on Sunday, Nov. 12.

Congrats to our 2017 ATHENA Young Professional Recipient!
Last month, Drena Kusari Berisha of Lyft, was named   the 2017 Young Professional ATHENA recipient at the Chamber's 30th Anniversary ATHENA Awards . As the first female general manager for Lyft, Drena oversees growth strategy, marketing and operations. Under her leadership in the last year, Lyft added more than $40 million in economic value in Phoenix. Drena is a dedicated leader in the community and serves as a mentor for Social Venture Partners and to young girls interested in STEM careers. Most recently, Drena has become involved with the Phoenix Girls in Tech chapter.

Join the Chamber for a Rockin' Holiday at the Hard Rock Cafe
On Wednesday, Dec. 6, the Chamber is hosting our Annual Holiday Celebration at the Hard Rock Café in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Although the weather outside may be frightful, a holiday mixer is most delightful and you're invited to celebrate this wonderful time of year with a rock 'n' roll twist! Join us for a festive evening full of tidings, good cheer, and of course, networking!
2016 Young Professional ATHENA recipient to speak Dec. 12

Who's Next: Nominate a young Arizonan making the state better
A new recognition program from azcentral.com showcases influencers under 40 from a different profession each month. Who's Next has recognized up-and-comers in the Communications and Arts fields and is accepting nominations in the category of Food through Nov. 10. Future categories include non-profits, health/wellness and entrepreneurs. Who's Next is an evolution of the annual "35 Entrepreneurs 35 or Younger" list.
