FOFA IS RECOGNIZED IN A PBS DOCUMENTARY to air September 29th
The PBS Peabody award winning documentary series "Craft in America" filmed portions of two excellent upcoming programs in Oaxaca, one -- "Neighbors" -- partially in collaboration with FOFA. These programs explore connections through craft between Mexico and the United States.
Borders (September 22nd on WNET Channel 13 at 9:00 pm EST) features master weaver Isaac Vásquez García and family of Teotitlán del Valle, leadership of Oaxaca's Textile Museum, and Maestro Francisco Toledo and artist Kiff Slemmons at Taller Arte Papel in San Agustín Etla.
