Holiday Sample Sales



Holiday sample sale season is officially here. Showrooms at 9th and Los Angeles will open to the public every Friday in December for the holiday season - December 1, 8, 15, 22.

The CMC is kicking off the holiday shopping season early with samples sales on November 10 & 17.  Click here for holiday shopping info at the CMC.

New Restaurants to Try This Month




ROSSOBLU was named the  No. 10 restaurant in Los Angeles by LA Times food critic, Jonathan Gold. The Italian restaurant opened at 11th and San Julian (City Market South) earlier this year serving homemade pastas and dishes inspired by Bologna, where chef Steve Samson spent childhood summers.

BEST GIRL took over the former LA Chapter space at Ace Hotel, 939 S Broadway, on Tuesday and has already been featured in  Vogue. The "veggie forward" menu by chef Michael Cimarusti (of Providence, Connie & Ted's, and Cape Seafood & Provisions) is "inspired by the city of Los Angeles" and features real ingredients and lots of flavor.

ANATRA opened for dinner at 217 8th. The upscale dining restaurant serves Italian fare by chef Peyman Rasi.

BROKEN MOUTH is serving brunch all day. The Hawaiian/Filipino fast casual restaurant is a mom and pop food concept by husband-and-wife team Tim and Louise Lee featuring dishes like fritters, spam musubi and a spicy chicken sandwich. Located at 231 E 9th St.

The Wall Farmer's Market
Enjoy food, flowers, and fresh produce at The Wall Farmer's Market every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The farmer's market sets up in front of the flower markets on Wall Street between 7th and 8th Streets.
Thanksgiving Holiday Hours
Wholesale business are expected to close on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. All retail businesses are expected to open with normal business hours on Black Friday.  Learn more.
