Greetings Eagle Chapter Members and Friends!

Dover Luncheon Sep 26 2017 HonorGuard
436th SFS Honor Guard - Dover AFB DE

Thank-you to the men and women of the 436th Security Forces Squadron for an awesome luncheon on September 26, 2017.  With 62 attendees, we had the highest turnout ever at Dover and the highest attendance for several years!  Above, the honor guard members, A1C Lzaria L. Ivy, TSgt Christopher W. Whiting,  SSgt David L. Spencer, and SSgt Brandon J. Trapp prepare to post the colors.
Next week, we have the final luncheon in celebration of the USAF SF 20th Anniversary and our final luncheon of the year.  If you don't attend one of these luncheons, you are truly missing out on a tremendous event.  Chief Master Sergeant (Ret) Daryl Janicki will also speak at the Pentagon luncheon to close out our remembrance celebration.

It's October and Eagle Chapter members know what that means!  We kick off our once a year donation drive.  This is the time to help us flourish in support of our SF Airmen and families for 2018.  The donation drive is from October through January.  If you like the services that we provide, you can be a part of it by helping to fund these activities.  Send to our PO Box or go to any page on our website to donate securely via PayPal through your debit or credit card.

Thank-you for your continuing support.

Very respectfully,

Lee

20th Anniversary USAF SF Dover Luncheon - One of the largest in attendance in awhile

A fantastic event!  Thank-you to the men and women at Dover for making this one of our most highly attended events in a few years. Sixty-four attendees came out to help us celebrate the 20th Anniversary of our US Air Force Security Forces at Dover.
Col Randy Boswell, the 436th Mission Support Group Commander, highlighted our event as our keynote speaker. Chief Master Sergeant (Ret) Daryl Janicki was our guest speaker who provided the background of the formation of the career field. I've never heard a commander speak so highly of our force and it's leadership.  Says a lot about our SF Airmen at Dover - Kudos to you all! He also spoke of the challenges that we face as a career field.

Chief Janicki is our guest speaker for all luncheons this year where we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the US AF Security Forces. Thank-you Chief again (and again) and especially for bringing your spouse to attend our luncheon up at Dover.
Chief Janicki (above third from left) aids in the ceremonial cake cutting for the 20th anniversary celebration.  Along with Chief Janicki is the most junior Airman (Airman Morley third from right)) in attendance and the commander, Lt Col Morales (commander second from righjt)), the Security Forces Manager, Chief Fenush (far right), and the Quality Control Manager (far left), MSgt Ruiz.

I will have more photos of our Dover luncheon on our website in a few weeks.  Thanks again Dover for a job exceptionally well done!!!

We hold our chapter board meetings on the first Wednesday of the month at 8PM via conference call.

Contact the Eagle Chapter Secretary, Chris Walker, for more information.

In closing, a shout out and thanks to SSgt Chris Walker, Master of Ceremonies, at the Dover Luncheon (at left with SrA Jacquelene I. Roesch who sang the National Anthem at right).  Chris has been sitting in as our Interim Vice Chair for the Delaware Wing while holding down the spot as our Chapter Secretary.  Chris took a four year old script from a previous luncheon location and customized it to fit Dover.  A super, super job and he did it within a few days of returning from his vacation.  Thank-you again!  Also we can not thank  MSgt Kevin Veneman enough for being our point of contact at the 436th SFS.  His guidance helped make us have a better event for Dover and future locations.  Thanks again.

As of this afternoon, we only had 23 people signed up for our Pentagon Luncheon on Tuesday Oct 10!  We must turn all names in the Pentagon Security on Friday by noon.  If you can come out for our final luncheon of the year, we need you to RSVP.  Just click here and we'll see you next week!

Thanks

Very best regards,
