The Wave
October 20, 2017
A wet and wonderful week! We are in the midst of the one & only fundraiser of our year.  We are planning a great showing for the October 27th Fun Run. The forecast is for 63 degrees and sunshine. We invite everyone (parents, grandparents, etc) to stop by and watch. We will have pacers and lap counters. The pledges can be flat pledges or lap pledges - your choice. This money will fund 2 field trips and a picnic area for your kids. We won't be asking for any additional money - so this is the time to include yourself to help everyone out.  The field trip on Tuesday for the 7/8th Grade kick off to leadership, is funded in advance of our fun run. Please help us make up that money!!!!! Thanks for all your care and support - we are off to such a great start of the year. See you at the FUN RUN on FRIDAY.

7th & 8th Graders
We have had this plan in the works for some time now, and are excited to announce that our 7th & 8th graders will be heading to Tree to Tree on Tuesday afternoon to do some team building while going through their obstacle courses. Students MUST have a signed waiver at school by Monday in order to participate. We are providing bus transportation and students will bring their lunches with them on the bus. Should be loads of fun and the forecast looks dry!

Volunteer Needed
We are looking for one parent volunteer who would be willing to commit in helping lead our Library Club this year. This would involve regular visits to the school library to make sure the books and shelves are being maintained. You would also need to check in regularly with a small group of students and provide some guidance to help keep them on track with library maintenance. If this interests you, please contact Katherine

Our staff works very hard along with the students to make these learning experiences positive and successful. Thank you, Ms. H for guiding this program for so many successful years!

Students will be given their phone usage manual to study. There will be an online test given at school to earn a license to apply to the back of their student body card.
