FCUSD students continue rising higher in statewide tests

Students in Folsom Cordova schools continued to make progress and, districtwide, perform above state and local averages in English-language arts (ELA) and math, according to new 2016-17 state test results released this month.
Locally, FCUSD experienced the largest year-over-year rates of growth: a 3% increase in the number of students meeting or exceeding state math standards, and a 2% increase in students meeting or exceeding ELA standards.

One simple form could increase school funding
Does your child attend one of the following schools?
- Cordova Gardens Elementary
- Cordova Meadows Elementary
- Cordova Villa Elementary
- Mills Middle School
- Peter J. Shields Elementary
- Rancho Cordova Elementary
- White Rock Elementary
- Williamson Elementary
If so, every student in your school receives free meals.
However,
your school is asking you to complete an
"alternative income eligibility"
form for your school.
This is not an application for free or reduced meals.
This ensures your school receives the most amount of funding available from the state.
We need your help:
Without everyone's participation, your school may not receive all of the funding it is entitled to from the state - meaning fewer services for our students.
You may also call our Categorical Programs department at (916) 294-9000.
