grade and PTG! I hope you all had a chance to sign-up to help in a wide range of activities and committees. Parent volunteers are integral to the success of our parish Fun Fair, PTG, Crab Feed, art, and athletics.
What a wonderful first week of school! Everyone is settling in to the new classrooms and school routines. I look forward to seeing you at Back to School night tomorrow. The general session is in the Hall and starts at 6:50. It is important at least one parent attends.

Math Counts:
There will be a meeting in the library before Back to School night beginning at 5:30pm for Middle school parents whose students are interested in participating in the national math competition, Math Counts.
Safety Patrol:
Safety Patrol is a 6
th
grade service project. All 6
th
graders are expected to volunteer throughout the year. Please pull up to where the Safety Patrol members are during morning drop-off. The 6
th
graders will assist your child to exit your vehicle. Drivers must stay inside the vehicle. Please move on as soon as your child exits your car so other drivers can pull up. If you would like to walk your child into the schoolyard, please park at nearby streets.
Parking:
Reminder, no parking on red zones and loading/unloading zones. Do not block driveways. The office has recently received several phone calls from our neighbors. For your child’s safety, do not double park. Teachers will not release your child at dismissal if you are double parked.
PTG:
We have our first PTG meeting. Any parent interested in participating is welcome to attend. We meet in the school library from 7:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 5

All School Mass:
Join us for our first all school Mass on September 6
th
at 8:30am. Please note the uniform policy on Mass days: Full uniform with sweater or sweatshirt and no short pants please.
Fun Fair:
Mark your calendars! The Parish Fun fair is September 23
rd
. This is a wonderful event for school and parish families to come together. Fun for all ages! Please turn in raffle tickets to the parish or school office before September 23
rd
. For more information, please see the flier in today’s Family Envelope. Fun Fair t-shirts are available for purchase for $5 each in the school and parish offices. Students who purchase the t-shirts may have Free Dress on September 22nd.
Altar Servers:

graders who are Catholics to consider being altar servers. It is a wonderful opportunity serve our parish and school and to grow

Safe Environment Requirements:
All new parent volunteers need to complete the Safe Environment requirements prior to helping in the classrooms and other school events. There are two requirements: 1) LiveScan fingerprint – forms are available in the school office; 2) Complete the online class –
virtus.org
Submit proof of completion to Mr. Carter.
