April* grew up in a troubled home. She tried to mask the pain of that upbringing through abusing drugs and alcohol. One night she was so high she started walking down the middle of a busy road. Cooperation from a Missionary's Perspective

Planting a church in the least-reached city in Russia. Leading a Russian woman from a difficult background to Christ - and hearing how she led a Central Asian Muslim to Christ on a business trip. Seeing God make incredible divine connections so that the Gospel could be proclaimed among unreached Roma Gypsies in Russia. If you gave to the Cooperative Program, then you were a part of the things God did during my family's ministry overseas.  
Why We Cooperate as Southern Baptists

Several times each year we offer a Membership Class that outlines what it means to be a member, how we function as a church, what we believe, etc. One of the questions that we address each time because it is regularly raised is why do we choose to cooperate as a part of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).  Here are a few reasons for me and for our congregation:
How the Cooperative Program Enabled a Lifetime of Service

It was in my senior year at the University of Hawaii at Hilo that I first felt the burden God laid on my heart. His call to full-time ministry came at a time when I was seeking God's will as to what I should do after graduation. After a few months of prayer and confirmation, I surrendered to God's will to enter the Gospel ministry and committed to trusting my life into His hands.
September News Highlights

Quest 19, a leadership development experience for high school juniors, kicked off with the year's first official event, a Questie and parent cookout on Labor Day. Thirty-six students representing 20 New England congregations will be participating in Quest this year.
