Fourth Grade Reading Project

Last week, fourth grade students worked on a reading project using Legos and an iPad Story Visualizer app. The project began with the reading of a short play in the classroom. Fourth Grade Aloha! Aloha! Performance

Fourth Grade students performed their play Aloha! Aloha! during morning meeting on Friday. Inspiration for the play came from beginning of the year interest surveys and the study of volcanoes and the fifty states. The surfboard backdrop for the play was created in art class. The script was written by Ms. Shelton and researched by the students. The students celebrated in the classroom after the play with a Hawaiian luau provided by their wonderful parents.
