RYSE Film Festival Celebrates Youth Artists
Support our community's thriving youth film scene
RYSE's 3rd annual youth film festival Truth Be Told: Justice Through My Eyes will take place this Saturday, October 28, at 7pm.  This project empowers youth voices and visions through film and will showcase riveting art from young filmmakers speaking their truth of what justice means through their eyes.

I'm proud to be a co-founder of the RYSE Youth Center, the concept for which was developed over a decade ago by a coalition that included RYSE Executive Director Kimberly Aceves and our numerous local youth partners.

Today, the Center is a powerful symbol of what can be achieved when we invest in young people and empower them to lead community-based institutions.

Please join us this Saturday and support this important work!
