DRY SUMMER CONTINUES INTO FALL
As you know, we keep track of the daily and year to date irrigation need that is generated by the Weather Based irrigation systems we manage. Following a wet winter and spring, summer 2017 is shaping up to be one of the driest on record. Since June 16th, we have only had 0.06" of precipitation and as of August 28th, we have had 20% greater irrigation need than the 5 year average due to this dry weather. That unfortunately equates to higher water bills.

To make things worse, many districts are raising water rates significantly over the next few years.

With this in mind, it is imperative you consider water conservation projects in your future budgets. More to follow but water conservation will become one of the biggest landscape and facility priorities in the future.
