LITTLE RINGERS CHOIR
(ages 4 through 2nd grade) will be ringing for their first Sunday of the season on
Sunday October 8 at the 9:00am and 11:30am services
. On the way into church, each child should take two bells of the same color from the table, and have mom and/or dad hold onto the bells until we ring after Communion.

On Sunday, October 8, at the 11:30 service, we will be celebrating the sacredness of all God’s creatures, an annual celebration here at Nativity. Bring your pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, tortoises, snakes, you fill in the blank) to church, and, in the Spirit of St Francis of Assisi (whose feast day is October 4) we will bless all these animals. It’s a fun service, great music, and the blessing is near the beginning of the service, so anyone who needs to exit with a pet can do so easily.
On this special Sunday all undesignated offerings from all three services will be donated to Last Hope, Inc., a 501(c)3 charitable organization founded in 1985, as a no-kill companion pet rescue located in Farmington, MN.

Starting October 12
th
360 Communities is also kicking off their Armful of Love holiday program. COT is not sponsoring this program but would like to make Nativity members aware of this opportunity. Through this program 360 Communities matched families in need with sponsors. Armful of Love helps provide joy to children while alleviating stress for parents who are unable to afford holiday gifts for their families. Colin and I have participated the last couple of years and the ‘gifts’ are usually practical items (winter coat, clothing, towels) and a toy for each child. To learn more about this program interested individuals can go to
