Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
TheSkim
Known for its daily news app popular with young adults, theSkimm is an American media company that focuses on a short, simple, easy-to-read way to learn about the news and current events. Many people could use a short, simple, easy-to-understand way to learn about the Bible as well. In this 6 week series, we will "skim" the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, looking at how to read it, understand it, and learn about its people and themes. Most importantly, as you gain new insights, you'll be inspired by the Scriptures and their meaning for your life today. If you're simply curious about the Bible or if you're a long-time believer, this series will strengthen your faith and help the Word come alive to you in ways you won't soon forget!

This Sunday's sermon title is theGospels: Word Up (John 1:1-5, 14; 20:31) by Rev. Catherine Fluck Price.
Scattered to the Kingdom Come
The 6:35 Wednesday Night Contemporary Service begins a new message series on October 4 entitled, "Scattered to the Kingdom Come," and will run through November 8.
Are You Ready?
Do you have a Last Will and Testament? Have you considered how a legacy of generosity might impact others after you're gone? Have you taken care of important health care decisions for yourself and your family, such as a living will and other advanced directives?

The Trinity United Methodist Foundation would love to help you explore these and other questions you may have about end-of-life matters. The Foundation has arranged for two experts in their fields to join us on Wednesday, November 8 at 6:30pm. Susan Ossi, local attorney and a Stepping Stones parent, will join us to talk about her area of expertise, estate planning. Tom Wilkinson, vice-president of the Florida United Methodist Foundation who has extensive experience consulting with individuals and churches, will also be present to share important information about planned giving. Both speakers are well equipped to help you consider your circumstances and also answer questions about including Trinity and other charitable organizations in your estate planning.

You can sign up here for the event. Your RSVP is appreciated and will help us plan sufficient materials and seats for participants. We look forward to seeing you. In the meantime, if you have questions about the event or the Trinity Foundation, you may contact the Foundation President, Bill Burger.
Mission Box
This week's mission box supports Micanopy Tutoring. This after-school tutoring program matches children with UF students to provide one-on-one daily assistance with homework and projects. The intense collaboration between students and tutors has created dramatic results with what used to be failing students. (text 2 give keyword: tutoring)
