Parent Organizations

Lake Forest High School offers an abundance of opportunities for parents to get involved. Consider the opportunities listed below and we welcome your participation.
|
The Lake Forest High School Foundation is dedicated to raising funds to enhance the educational experience for all LFHS students.
Investing in Educational Excellence
November is LFHS Foundation Month
Each November, the Lake Forest High School Foundation appeals to the Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood communities to help us "invest in educational excellence" at LFHS. We do this in two ways: 1) we send out a letter to those families who have yet to make a donation to the Foundation asking for their support, and; 2) we partner with a variety of Lake Forest & Lake Bluff businesses to provide opportunities for the communities to help us raise money while supporting our local retailers.
The LFHS Foundation has awarded 240 grants totaling just under $2 million over the past 15 years. These grants have benefited every student, in every grade, at every level of the high school. But we couldn't do it with the generous support of the LFHS community!
So, to those families who have already donated to the Foundation this school year, we thank you! To those families who have yet to contribute, please look for our annual appeal letter in your mailbox and consider making a donation. And to everyone, we invite you to join us throughout November at the "Foundation Month" events listed below.
