PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT - ART!
Each week, we will be highlighting one of our programs or offering resources for parents to illustrate The Radcliffe Way!

What are Artistic Behaviors?  Artistic Behaviors are actions artists engage in when they plan, create and reflect on their work. It is one of the important frameworks for structuring a choice-based art education curriculum. At Radcliffe, students are responsible for identifying and explaining which Artistic Behaviors they use when they are working on their independent projects. Artistic Behaviors also guide instruction and help the students focus on a particular practice while making artwork that is vastly different from their peers. During the first quarter, students have worked on the following Artistic Behaviors: planning their ideas, exploring a theme, and making original artwork.

K-8 HALLOWEEN INFORMATION AND BAKE SALE!
Halloween will be celebrated at Radcliffe on Tuesday, October 31! Students are welcome to come to school on Tuesday dressed in costume, or they may change for the parade. This year, the parade will happen in The Great Room or outside if the weather permits at 11:15 a.m. and homeroom Halloween stations will run from 1:05 p.m. until dismissal at 3:00 p.m. Parents are welcome to be at school to be a part of those events!

We will also host a hauntingly-spooktacular Halloween Bake Sale during school on Halloween Day, Tuesday, October 31. Please help us by providing some wickedly delicious treats! This has traditionally been a huge hit with the boys and ghouls! Also, be sure your goblin has some spare change to purchase some "bites!" Gluten-free and Dairy-free are appreciated as well!  Money raised will be used to support the new RCS recycling initiative. Thanks as always, for your support!
