RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES
Project Dragonfly is accepting applications for 2018 Earth Expeditions graduate courses that offer extraordinary experiences in 16 countries throughout the world.
Earth Expeditions can build toward the
Global Field Program (GFP)
, a master's degree that combines summer field courses worldwide with web learning communities so that students can complete the GFP master's part-time from anywhere in the United States or abroad.
Project Dragonfly also offers the
Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP)
master's degree that combines web instruction from Miami University with experiential learning and field study through several AIP Master Institutions in the U.S.
Graduate tuition for all programs is greatly reduced because of support from Miami University.
The 2018 Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Student Contest is underway.
Students ages 11-18 are invited to submit visual art, poetry, prose, film, and music (new!) that explore this year's theme: Our Oceans in a Changing Climate.
Students can earn awards of up to $1,500, and the deadline to apply is June 18, 2018. Click here f

Additionally, Bow Seat's 2018 Marine Debris Creative Advocacy Competition
is also underway. This national competition challenges middle and high school students to lead a creative campaign in their school or community that educates others and inspires action to reduce or prevent marine debris. It's a perfect opportunity for green teams, marine science or sustainability clubs, arts groups, honor society members, Scout troops, or any environmentally-minded teens
Students can earn awards of up to $5,000, and the deadline is June 18th, 2019. To get started and for more information, click here.
