ESA Spotlight Series:

Strategic Partnerships

Strategic Partnerships

In July 2017, AESA members that attended AESA's Summer Leadership Conference investigated the value of strategic partnerships.  As a follow-up on the topic, we asked AESA writer, John Fitzgerald, to dig a little deeper into ESA Partnerships that have an established track record of success.

We spotlight two ESAs in this article:
  • Grant Wood Area Education Agency, Cedar Rapids, IA and their partnership with New Teacher Center at the University of California-Santa Cruz and;
  • East Bay Educational Collaborative, Warren, RI and their partnership with the Office of Naval Research to provide Essential Physics, a state-of-the-art STEM physics program.

About  Perspectives: A Journal of Research and Practice
About Educational Service Agencies

AESA
Perspectives
welcomes manuscripts and articles  from all those interested in the work of service agencies in the United States. The journal publishes articles of research and practice in three different strands described below.

Research: The first strand presents formal research.

Innovation: The second strand presents information on innovation within ESAs and programs.

Spotlight Series:  The third strand shares short articles that highlight a story of interest, or one that may be a topic for future research and analysis.

Interviews with public officials (legislators, chief state school officials, business leaders, etc.) regarding their positive views of the work of service agencies are also welcome since they can be helpful to colleagues, individuals and public/private entities across the nation.

Please read the Editorial Guidelines  AESA's online format allows AESA to publish articles as they are completed and approved by the editorial board. If you have questions about AESA Perspectives , please contact:
