Message From President Nino
Two weeks ago we lost a member of our Beach community, Estephan Hernández, and on Friday, October 6 a memorial was held in his memory. Despite this tragedy I stay optimistic and remind myself  that when we support one another we will overcome any obstacle or tragedy we may face: We are ONE Beach.

In other news, please note that there are currently vacancies in housing so the university is using the living space as emergency housing for students in need. ASI will be providing ten $1,000 scholarships for our undocumented and international students and President Conoley has agreed to match our efforts. This past Tuesday I was excited to meet with the newest group of Beach Team members and am excited to work with this next generation of student leaders.

Go Beach!
