Embracing the Change....In seasons and so many other things!

What a kick-off to our new year! Over 80 of us gathered for our Opening Luncheon! Thanks to each of you able to join us! Thanks to our program team for all the hard work to create such a warm event (Aurelie Barrial, Ellie Lacey, Jean Dole and guiding help Julie Lischer)! Thanks to each of our interest group leaders for sharing a look at the year to come!  Connecting with our theme this year of "Embracing Change", please feel welcome and encouraged to visit or try out a new interest group this year!

Many thanks to the Drake House for explaining their work helping to comprehensively equip single-parent, women-headed households while keeping the family united. Their Drake House consignment stores orchestrated our fashion show (with assistance from our own CPWC models!).  The proceeds from our donations and these stores help support those families during their time of great change. Please consider donating to the Drake House and/or visiting one of their three locations!

Thanks to the charity committee for truly embracing change in venue, dress and type of Spring event! We will gather April 28, 2018 at a neighborhood home for a concert by Yacht Rock Schooner with food provided by Chef Alex Riethoff! What a treat to look forward to! Please save the date!

Thanks to many of our membership (Lynn Thompson, Tina Engberg, Belinda Vogel, and our garden host homes, and many others and our children!) for volunteering, organizing, supporting and attending the Garden Tour in support of our local McFarlane park! What gems we have all around us! How inspiring!

Please plan to join us for the next club Programs meeting!  Hope to see you soon!  Please register now for your 2017-2018 membership,  by  downloading our form to mail , or via our  online secure site , to EMBRACE all we have to offer you!

Please contact Janet  or Lisa if you have any questions.

cpcaCPCA Update

The CPCA is your neighborhood organization and your representative to the county. We have
been getting new volunteers to be block captains to be a conduit between the organization and the neighbors. They have been helping us update our CPCA database with the best contact numbers and new neighbors.  If you have a new neighbor, contact Janie Kissling , so she can update the database.  If you are willing to be a block captain, let Janie know also and she will give your information to Judy Winchell.

The directory will probably be out in October around the time of our annual meeting and newsletter. If you have any news you want the CPCA to consider, let Janie know.
