FEATURED PROCEDURE
Kybella

KYBELLA is a prescription medication, deoxycholic acid, used to reduce submental fat (double chin). KYBELLA permanently destroys fat cells when injected into the fat below the chin. Once those fat cells are destroyed the body will process and eliminate them leaving you with a noticeable reduction in the fullness under your chin. There is no down time with the treatment and the most common adverse affect after treatment is swelling in the area and tenderness. Schedule a consultation to see if KYBELLA is right for you.
Call and ask us how you can SAVE $400 on your Kybella treatment!
SUN PROTECTION
How to pick the right sunscreen

Living in South Florida it is important that we apply sunscreen every day. Sunscreen should be applied generously to all exposed skin.  A Sun Protective Factor (SPF) of   30 that provides broad-spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays is recommended. Apply sunscreen 30 minutes prior to sun exposure and reapply every two hours, and/or after swimming or sweating.

Look for ingredients that include at least one of the following:
  • Zinc oxide- at least 5%
  • Titanium dioxide
  • Avobenzone (Parsol 1789)- to be effective must be combined with 3.6% octocrylene
  • Ecamsule (Mexoryl SX)

One American dies of melanoma almost every hour. Remember to protect your skin daily.

"Sun Screams for Sunscreen"
Written By Our Patient, BJ

"Boys and girls come out to play
It's sunny and bright, a Lauderdale day
You're daring to tan on a sunny beach
Without a sunscreen within your reach!"

"Bikini so small, could say it is tiny
Sunscreen will help, even on "hiney"
Lather it on, frontal and back
After the swim, do another attack!"

"You're thinking you're gorgeous, you and that tan
But Barry will tell you he's really no fan!"

Are varicose veins the same as spider veins?

Both varicose veins and spider veins are found on the legs.

Varicose Veins are large, raised, swollen blood vessels that are twisting and turning

Spider Veins are smaller, red, purple or blue veins. These types of veins are treatable at our office. Please call to reserve your appointment.
