ROSH CHODESH MAR CHESHVAN

Rosh Chodesh Mar Cheshvan began with a beautiful Hallel gathering of the entire Upper Elementary Division. Rabbi Stein explained to the girls that singing their tefilos together builds kedusha in the world and has a power to bring about many yeshuos. The girls' singing was uplifting to all who participated. Following the Hallel, Malka Bernstein, of Morah Herskovitz's class 5A shared a fabulous d'var Torah contrasting how we find many things that might taste bitter but in fact if you look at them positively they are actually good! The assembly ended with a delicious treat from our PTA.

FOURTH GRADE ROSH CHODESH

The 4th Grade continued their Rosh Chodesh celebration by initiating a new special program. Each month another class will be highlighting a special aspect of the month through a performance or project that they share with the grade. This month, Morah Neumann's 4th Grade girls put on a song and skit about the treasures found in the rain we daven for in the month on Mar Cheshvan. The girls each made a treasure box magnet and decorated it with precious gems.

SCHOOL WIDE PROGRAM KICKOFF
This year's Elementary Schoolwide Program began this week! Our 3rd Grade Morah Neuberger led the way preparing a unifying program for the entire Elementary school around the theme of Ashreinu! How fortunate we are to be Yidden with a connection to Hashem and His Torah. There are many great lessons the girls will be learning to solidify these concepts in our every day life here at Bais Yaakov Elementary School and we will have enjoyable stories, plays, and incentive programs to reinforce this wonderful message of how fortunate we are as children of Hashem.
SUKKOS PROJECTS
Morah Debbie Weintraub , a master artist and Bais Yaakov Pre-school Morah, guided our 5th Grade students on creating gorgeous works of art to decorate the girls' Sukkos. These projects, along with the other Sukkos projects in the school were generously sponsored by our PTA. We are so grateful for the ongoing support of our PTA and their help with so many programs Bais Yaakov runs.
