WEEKLY PROGRESS

On Tuesday, November 14, the Governing Board voted to approve the start of construction at  Pima. The vote clears the way for fences to go up and ground level work to begin in December. Vertical construction is expected to follow in January. Please join us for the celebration above.

Also this week,  architects shared the new exterior renderings for Hopi, based on input from the community. Earlier this month, more than a dozen teachers met with the Hopi Rebuild Committee to vote on the new design, and they chose a Mid Century Modern Style. This design shift is in addition to changes already made to the interior of the building, based on community feedback. For more photos, visit bond.susd.org

Finally this week, the track surrounding the new Coronado football field is taking shape. We hope to reopen the field after the Thanksgiving holiday. Thank you for your patience while this work is underway.

Track surfacing at Saguaro and Chaparral begins December 12.
