Inspire Others to Shop Local

In an effort to drive our community members to shop local, we have put together a discount key card program that will launch soon!

We need YOU to join us to make this a success. The more participation we have in the program the better value for the cards. These cards were designed with YOU in mind, and we hope to generate extra income for YOU!

MEET OUR TEAM
Caryn Reinthaler
NEW Executive Director
Community, to me, is more than just a place that various individuals live. Community is about coming together to improve, to grow, and to progress forward.

I am originally from Rhinelander, WI and graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a Bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. Previously I have worked as a Special Events Coordinator and Marketing and Communication Specialist. I was raised from a very young age to understand the importance of being invested in your community. I, myself, may only make a tiny difference, but together, as a community, we can make a huge impact.

I am so excited to work with the DeForest Windsor Area in the hopes of continuing to develop and grow these beautiful communities.
Heike Compe
Administrator
I have lived in DeForest for 21 years, raised four children here with my husband, Greg. My two oldest children, Calvin and Kylie, are students at UW- Madison. Heidi is a Junior and Natalie a freshman at DeForest Area High School. I am originally from Madison, so I didn’t move too far away from home.

I have been with the Chamber for two years and have truly enjoyed meeting and working with so many amazing people and businesses in our communities. My job has developed from the Assistant Administrator to the Administrator, with taking on the tasks of organizing and preparing the financials reports and billing. I enjoy arranging the monthly meetings and networking events, and the golf outing, silent auction, door prizes, and helping the committees for the Fourth of July, WindsorFest and River Fest.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our team will be wearing pink ribbons the entire month of October in order to promote awareness and send a message of hope to all those who have fought and continue to fight breast cancer.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide and the second-most common cancer overall. In 2016, an estimated 246,660 cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in the U.S. alone. So no matter who you are or where you live, understanding breast cancer is important. But the most important thing to know is this: a diagnosis is not a death sentence. Breast cancer can be treated. Source: Susan G. Komen
