Press Briefing Featuring Members of the Kraków & Małopolska Trade Mission to Chicago to Be Held Wednesday, October 4, at the Copernicus Center. Meeting with Illinois Governor B. Rauner to follow.

          CHICAGO (October 1, 2017) --- Kraków Airport and the Polish American Chamber of Commerce (PACC) announced recently that a press briefing featuring members of the Oct. 2 - 4 Kraków & Małopolska Trade Mission to Chicago will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 11:30 AM, at Copernicus Center Annex, 5214 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL. Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner's meeting with members of the trade mission and those in attendance will follow the press briefing. Lunch and refreshments will be served.

Members of the 30-person trade mission include representatives of businesses from Kraków and the Małopolska Region; representatives of trade and economic development agencies; Marshal of the Małopolska Region; Vice President of the City of Krakow; the CEO of Krakow Airport; and the CEO of LOT Polish Airlines.

The purpose of the Polish trade mission to Chicago is to promote the direct Kraków-Chicago air route, which was reestablished this summer, among entrepreneurs, and to increase commercial contacts between businesses from Chicago/Illinois and Kraków/Małopolska.

PACC board president Stanley Skoczen has stated that "The PACC is very pleased to serve as a Chicago-based partner agency for the organizers and sponsors of the trade mission. Once again, as an organization, we intend to make a significant contribution to helping identify new business opportunities and contacts for Chamber members and others, capitalizing on the Chicago / Illinois and Kraków / Małopolska ties which have been recently enhanced by the newly reestablished direct flight connection between Chicago's O'Hare and Krakow's JPII Airport in Balice by LOT Polish Airlines."
