Erishkigal, Persephone and Hel: Three Queens of the Afterlife and Underworld with Christopher Giroux 

The Queens of Hell have many similarities: they are all maidens, they are all considered Dark aspects of the Goddess, and none of them took their roles willingly. But take the role they did, and understanding their stories helps us to understand how they worked to transform our understanding of the realms of the afterlife and underworld and its importance to the living. You are invited to meet these three Great Queens in order to understand better their sacrifices to ensure that the afterlife isn't the realm of dust and ennui that modern tinkerers of religion will have us believe.
