"She is such a consistent and caring presence that the kids believe that she is a staff member rather than a volunteer," Cara Love Elementary Librarian Brigid Kosek said.  "She loves to spend time with her grandchildren, but since the are grown or far away, she shares her time and talents with the children of Clara Love.  She knows most students by name.  She is beloved and I will be he first one to tell you that the library would not be the same without her smiling face."

ABC News Veteran Speaks at Lakeview
ABC News Correspondent and Host of What Would You Do, John Quinones, shared his story of determination and how he followed his dreams to where he is today with third through fifth grade students at Lakeview Elementary this week.
"He was able to share his message not only through his TV program, but also through his engaging retelling of his life experiences," Lakeview Elementary Principal Mary Seltzer, Ed.D. said.  "The students really enjoyed listening to him, watching his episodes and took away that we should always be determined and also be willing to help others."
