A message from our Board of Directors...

After experiencing a week of warm July weather at the end of September,we have finally felt fall arrive.

October serves as a harbinger of the beginning of the end - the 4th quarter is upon us and for many businesses, is a time to figure out how to end the year strongly and set the stage for excellence for the coming new year. SCBA is here to partner with you to develop solid relationships within your community as we continue to strive to deliver meaningful learning tools for our members.

The SCBA has just finished up a busy September. Brett Callegary offered us an excellent presentation at our luncheon and Liberatore's wined and dined us brilliantly at last month's Cocktails and Cards. We also enjoyed a very successful golf tournament and we thank our golf committee and our members for their support!

At this month's luncheon, long-time SCBA member Jon Allen of Advantage Internet Marketing will discuss internet marketing tools for your business as we look for ways to stay ahead of the pack. We also have an amazing Cocktails and Cards opportunity at The Cork in Sykesville on Monday, October 16th. We get the whole place to ourselves! Come out and enjoy this exclusive time of relationship building at a wonderful downtown Sykesville restaurant. Mark your calendars for November as well - we have another exclusive Cocktails and Cards at Kismet Cafe on November 9th, followed by our luncheon on November 15th. And please, don't forget to spread the word about our limited time end-of-year member special - for $110, new members will receive the rest of 2017 plus 2018 for one low price!

Sincerely,
The SCBA Board of Directors
