Our fifth graders going to Echo Hill Outdoor School has been a St. John's tradition since 2006, and is something that students look forward to their whole academic career! They stay three days and two nights, and work on leadership skills, being responsible for themselves, setting goals and rising to challenges, teamwork and communication through various activities and lessons.

Giving Tuesday is Tuesday, November 28th

All funds collected will continue to go into our Annual Fund, but we're excited to hit our first goal of $40,000 in the name of  #GivingTuesday !

Our Annual Fund helps to support such projects as a Saxon Phonics Curriculum, Playground Renovations, Pearson enV isionMath Curriculum, and a new stone sign for the front of the campus.

To take an #UNselfie, all you have to do is take a picture of yourself holding a piece of paper that says you're supporting St. John's for  #GivingTuesday,   then post it to your favorite social-media outlet with the hashtag unselfie. We encourage you to do this at any point you'd have fun with, not just on #GivingTuesday!
Shapes, Snacks, and Sunshine

This time of year, we can all take a lesson from Mrs. Baumann's class by stopping to take the time to play with our food, smile, enjoy the time with our friends and families, and not take ourselves too seriously. Oh, and maybe learning a little something as well!

Did you know that Grandparents Day has been celebrated at St. John's for over 10 years? Remember to ask your grandparents to RSVP so they can be a part of this tradition.
Thanksgiving Break

Classes will resume on November 27th.
November 28–December 15

For the past 28 years, St. John's Parish Day School families and staff have joined with St. John's Episcopal Church and its Outreach Ministry to prepare holiday gift baskets for families in need.

Coloring Page Contest! Download the coloring page below, and show us your stuff. Finished pages are due to Ms. Sclar, in the Media Center, by Tuesday, November 22nd. Winners will be selected from Grades K –2, Grades 3–5, TK, Age 3, and Age 4, and will each receive a $5.00 coupon to use at the Book Fair! Only St. John’s students are eligible.
