  LEGISLATIVE ACTION UPDATE
Chamber to Reveal 2018 Issues for Legislative Action at Legislative Preview Breakfast

While we won't be revealing the Chamber's entire list of 2018 Issues for Legislative Action until our 2018 Legislative Preview Breakfast on November 29th, we can say that this is a year where our role as the voice of business for Howard County is more important than ever before.

We anticipate at least seven pieces of legislation that will be of major concern for our members in the area of Labor, Employment and Healthcare alone. We also plan to focus our advocacy efforts on more than a dozen other pieces of legislation dealing with Budget, Finance & Taxation, Education & Workforce Development and Energy, Environment & Land Use.

If you want to be among the first members of Howard County's business community to hear about the Chamber's advocacy plans for 2018, you will want a seat at the 2018 Legislative Preview Breakfast. Attendees will also hear about what the 2018 Legislative Session will look like straight from Howard County's elected officials and business leaders.
