As Thanksgiving nears, we realize that we have much to be thankful for this year. Because of you, the Women's Fund was able to celebrate these many successes in 2017...
Launch of Young Women's Initiative

The Women's Fund kicked off a new multi-year initiative to increase the life-long economic security of women and their families by strategically addressing the needs of young women ages 18-29. We are leading a pilot project, in collaboration with Fox Valley Technical College and B.A.B.E.S.Child Abuse Prevention Program, using the Two-Generation approach which provides opportunities for vulnerable children and parents together. 

Women's Philanthropy Forum

The "Lead Your Own Movement" workshop last March encouraged women to be a catalyst for change and to explore how finances and personal values all play a part in determining how you give of your time, talents and treasure.

6th Annual Girls' Grantmaking Program

The Women's Fund welcomed fourteen girls from Freedom, Little Chute, Kaukauna and Kimberly high schools for the sixth annual Girls' Grantmaking Project.The girls discussed issues and problems facing local girls and awarded $10,000 to organizations addressing violence against women and access to economic opportunities.

20 Years of Project and Program Grants!

Women's Fund Total Grantmaking Exceeds $1.2 Million - $87,000 Awarded in New Grants

The Women's Fund exceeded $1.2 million in total grantmaking and has funded 204 programs within 80 different organizations since 1997! Thank you for working together  to create a stronger, healthier and more equitable community for women and girls in the Fox Valley. 
Women's Fund Luncheon 

The Women's Fund Luncheon was the place to be on September 7! Appleton native, Dr. Ann McKee, gave a powerful keynote address weaving together brain science, family, community and perseverance; inspiring all of us to stick to our roots and stand tall against opposition. The room was filled with a huge audience of 1,025 people and raised an impressive total of $185,000.00 to Invest in Her!

Issue Spotlight Panel Discussion

The Issue Spotlight is a free, educational event held prior to the start of the Women's Fund Luncheon.This year's panel of experts gathered to talk about the work of BRAIN Fox Valley (Brain Injury, Recognition, Accommodations, Interventions, Network), a local coalition of nonprofits and healthcare providers that are working to improve brain injury awareness in the Fox Valley.

Status of Women in Northeast Wisconsin Report

This collaborative report between the Women's Funds in Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Green Bay and the Fox Valley will inform our communities about the realities experienced by women and girls. Data from 12 key indicators was analyzed and confirms that despite our many successes, much work still needs to be done to help women and girls reach their full potential.
