Welcome to The Pulse! Please take a minute to check out what's happening in the life of COTA.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
+ Please pray for Susan and Patrick Dominguez as they grieve the loss of Susan's dad. Pray for God's comfort and love to surround them, as well as Beka and Amy, their daughters.
+ Pray for your times with family next week during Thanksgiving, that you would have open eyes to see the opportunities God gives to share what he has done in your life with your family and relatives.
+ Pray for those who are alone, that our church would share the love and fellowship of Christ with them, and even invite some to join us at our Thanksgiving tables.
The church office will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24.
STEWARDSHIP UPDATE
When Church of the Apostles began meeting in our current space in May 2008, we had a loan balance of $4,572,581. That loan balance is now ZERO, largely due to the contributions received from the Upon This Rock and Freedom for Mission journeys along with the $400,000 sale of land for the parking deck. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Every Freedom for Mission dollar that comes in now through September 30, 2018 will go 100% to Freedom for Mission grants.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
It's that tasty time of year again!
Bring a goodie: Email Lou White {[email protected]} with the item you'd like to donate. All baked goods can be dropped off on the day of the sale.
Buy a goodie: The bake sale will be open after both 8:30 and 11:00 services. Consider grabbing a treat for a friend, neighbor or Christmas gifts! Proceeds will go toward scholarships for the Women's Retreat in February.
The Women's Ministry would like to invite you to coffee and dessert as we fellowship together and celebrate Christmas. Please feel free to invite a friend; simply indicate the number of guests (including yourself) below. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall ... please join us!

First Communion Class |November 19 | 3-4:15pm Join us as we learn with other kids what happens at communion: When was the first communion? Why do we do it every week? Our time will include a clear presentation of the gospel and interactive class activities. Children must attend with a parent. Not sure if your child is ready? Just ask!
