Volunteer for Care and Share Thanksgiving This Weekend

Please volunteer for the set up and distribution for our Thanksgiving event on Friday, November 17, 6-8 pm and Saturday, November 18, 9:15-11:30 am. We also need a few helpers at the Elmhurst Elks location, corner of Villa Ave. and St. Charles Rd., to help pack turkey boxes from 7:50 am to 9:00 am on November 18. These turkey dinner boxes will be transported to Peace and given to our Care & Share families. Your help is greatly needed and appreciated. Questions? Clothing Drive Through November 17
We are collecting clean, gently-worn fall/winter clothes for all ages for Care & Share. We are also collecting good, used children's reading books (for ages 10 and under). Y ou can drop them off with us during our set up for Thanksgiving on Friday night, November 17 at 6 pm. Hold on to any spring/summer clothes until we collect those before Easter.

Letters From Prison
Near the end of his life-long ministry the Apostle Paul wrote two letters to his trusted understudy, Timothy. Join us on November 19 at 9:30 am in Room 305 as we study the enduring challenges and hot topics Paul addresses and the religious, political and physical context in which he wrote to Timothy.
Old CDs Requested for Preschool Project

We want your old CDs!
The Peace Preschool is working on a Christmas craft project and would love to have your old CDs. If you would like to contribute to this project, please put the CDs in the basket on the desk outside the Preschool Office. Thank you!
Peace Hosts PADS November 29-30
PADS- 5th Wednesday- It's Our Turn! November 29-30
In months that have 5 Wednesdays, it is Peace's turn to provide staffing and food for our PADS shelter. 
Opportunities include making beds, setting dinner tables, serving dinner, clean-up, monitoring during the night, making breakfast and cleaning up in the morning after the guests have left. You can also sign up to provide the food. Sign-up sheets are in the Lobby.

Middle School Fun Nite November 17
Friday, November 17 from 5:45-8 pm
Skyzone 325 W. Lake St. Ste A Elmhurst 60126
Jumping 6:15-7:45 pm!

Parents, youth will meet and get picked up at SkyZone.
Snacks and drink will be provided. Permission slip required.
Parents must go to link prior to this event to sign a waiver for SkyZone. Sorry No Waiver, No Jumping per SkyZone.
Cost is $18 per person and a permission slip.Please RSVP via

Join your Family of Peace for our annual Thanksgiving Eve
Service on Wednesday, November 22 at 7:15 pm.


Pie Reception After the Service!
A delicious pie reception will be held in the Lobby immediately following the service. If you would like to donate a pie, please sign up by clicking online here   or sign up in the Lobby. See you there!
Adult On The Go Event December 10
