Focus: Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Written Plan
Collaborative Participants,

During Action Period 2, we want to engage you to keep you focused on your quality improvement efforts. We will target three key topics over the next several months, giving you the resources and support you need to reach your quality improvement goals.

First, we're focusing on the QAPI Written Plan. I n November 2017, nursing homes must have a QAPI plan available to present to the State Survey agency or a Federal surveyor. 

This email provides links to helpful QAPI Written Plan tools. We also have scheduled a Sharing Call where nursing home providers can discuss their plans and share their experiences. We hope you'll join us!

We'll start this call with an inside look into what state survey agency representatives are looking for in your QAPI Written Plan. Then we'll open the lines for conversation.

Call participants will be the first to hear the insight from the SSA interviews.
