CLASSROOM UPDATES
Dear MMS Families,

We are approaching a busy time of year, and look forward to seeing you at our many upcoming events! We are happy to announce Tricky Fish Tuesdays and our middle school Farmstand are both back this month --- read for details below. At the end of the month, we will kick off our Annual Fund Campaign , a vital part of our school's fundraising efforts.

Our Book and Bake Sale is scheduled for December 7 and 8, in cooperation with Charleston's independent bookseller, Taylor Books. On December 20, all MMS students will take part in our  Winter Concert before heading out for New Year's Break.

Many thanks to those who volunteered their time and expertise so far this year.  We are still in need of a few volunteers for the Book and Bake Sale on December 7 and 8.  To sign up, please follow this link: Volunteer Opportunities 2017-2018

Best wishes,
Jennifer

Alumni news:

Congratulations to MMS alumna Elena Liu (Capital High School) and Cassandra Sobieski (George Washington High School), who were named 2017 National Merit Semi-Finalists.

We love alumni visits, and were delighted to welcome three former students back to their old classrooms this fall: Samuel Levenson, a sophomore majoring in physics and aerospace engineering at Auburn University; Allie Persily, a junior pre-med major at Wake Forest University; and Marlo Weisberg, a sophomore majoring in accounting at Southern Methodist University.

We wish all of our former students continued success!
