PUBLIC POLICY NEWS
North San Jose Business Walk
  • How is business?
  • What do you like about doing business here?
  • What can be done to improve business in the area?
With these three questions, volunteers will survey businesses along the North San Jose business corridor to determine current economic conditions.
The business walk program is an important part of The SVO's silicon valley IDEA (Initiative to Drive Economic Advancement), to bring resources to help local businesses retention and expansion.
More than 50 volunteers are expected for the afternoon activity that also is an excellent way to make new connections and build relationships with other Silicon Valley business people like yourself.

#HEARTOFSV: SEPTEMBER ISSUE
This month's issue of The silicon valley organization's electronic magazine, #HeartofSV, focuses on
The SVO's public policy advocacy work.

Decisions that are made by government at all levels - city, county, state and federal - impact not just citizens and voters, but also businesses.

Whether governmental decisions are likely to impact entrepreneurs in a positive or negative way, businesses must be active in helping to shape the conversation.

It has been often repeated that, when it comes to government, if you are not at the table, you are on the menu!
