Pumpkin Dunk
Aquatics
Arizona may be the only place in the country where it's hot enough to wear flip flops and tank tops to the pumpkin patch, especially if it's floating. Forget bobbing for apples; try dunking for pumpkins. Join Chandler Aquatics' staff at Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center for their annual Pumpkin Dunk, Saturday, October 28 from noon to 2 p.m. The pool will be heated, and there will be decorating stations after you have picked your pumpkin. Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and enjoy water games, on-deck activities and public swim.
Preschool
From fizzing and foaming to bubbling and bewitching, Pumpkins and Potions is a Halloween party even the Dr. Frankenstein would approve. Join the Environmental Education Center, Saturday, October 28 from 1 to 2 p.m. Spooky scientists can create potions from household items, explore the ins and outs of pumpkins and make haunted crafts.
