WHEE Community Performance Art Project Workshop

You are invited to participate in a local, multi-generational Performance Art project about our relationship to the earth and our impact on the planet!
Local Performing Arts Artist
Hope Clark of Wheelbarrow Productions, Inc. will lead this unique workshop using movement and community performance to help participants gain a better understanding of the effects of climate change on the earth.
Learn about the science of global warming, collaborate with other participants to create a performance art piece, and engage in dialogue and community partnership.

You know the library is a great place to find information, but soon we'll also have basic supplies available to help you finish your homework!
Need some glue? Forgot your colored pencils? We're here to help. KCPL will be setting up Homework Carts at every library branch with school supplies ready to be used in the library after school.
Carts will be available every afternoon starting at 2:30pm and will have a variety of materials to make your homework assignments and projects a success. Can't find something you need on the cart? Let us know and we'll try our best to add it!
Homework carts and supplies are being provided by the 2017 LSTA Innovations Grant from MSDE.
